Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and supervise QA/QC team across multiple projects
Define roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for QA/QC teams
Ensure proper staffing, training, and development of QA/QC personnel
Develop, implement, and maintain the QA/QC strategy, aligned with corporate quality policies
Ensure consistent application of QA/QC Plans across all projects
Establish standardized procedures, inspection checklists, and reporting formats
Promote continuous improvement and best practices across projects
Oversee quality control activities during all project phases: engineering, construction, and commissioning
Ensure compliance with project specifications and contracts and applicable codes and standards
Monitor inspections, testing activities, and acceptance processes
Review and approve quality documentation, inspection reports, and test results
Plan and conduct internal audits and support external audits when required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
7+ years of experience in QA/QC within construction, EPC, or renewable energy projects
Proven experience managing QA/QC teams across multiple projects or regions
Strong knowledge of photovoltaic systems, construction processes, and materials
Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and industry standards
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contracts
Willingness to travel frequently to project sites
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Bilingual English and Spanish
Preferred
Certifications in QA/QC or Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Implementer)
Experience working on large-scale solar PV or renewable energy projects
Knowledge of U.S. construction codes and standards
Familiarity with HSE requirements in construction and EPC environments
Experience working in fast-paced, multi-project environments
