Responsibilities
Build & Integrate AI Systems: Collaborate with engineering teams on the design and implementation of solutions using LLM's, including the development of advanced Agentic Orchestration and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to levitate our proprietary data
Master Prompt Engineering: Develop, refine, and optimize prompts to ensure the highest quality and accuracy from AI models, serving as the subject matter expert for the product and development teams
Integrate and Deploy: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate AI/ML models and services into our core products, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and efficient
Drive AI Adoption: Act as an AI generalist, empowering our internal teams to use AI tooling effectively, from building agents to integrating with various AI services
Collaborate and Innovate: Work in a highly collaborative environment with the product and data team to explore new AI technologies and identify opportunities to apply them to our business challenges
Leverage Cloud Services: Utilize cloud platforms, particularly AWS AI services, to build, deploy, and manage AI-powered features
Qualification
Required
Approximately 3+ years of hands-on experience in a software engineering, machine learning, or related role, with a demonstrated focus on building and deploying AI systems
Proven experience and demonstrated deep understanding of prompt engineering, LLM integration, and fine-tuning techniques
Strong software development fundamentals and experience contributing to the development of scalable, production-ready software
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Node.js and/or Python preferred) and experience working with AI agents, common AI/ML frameworks and libraries
Experience working with large, complex datasets and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
Familiarity with cloud-based AI services; specific experience with AWS Bedrock services and Agent Core is a strong plus
A self-starter mentality combined with a passion for collaboration and the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
Preferred
Hands-on experience with vector databases
Practical experience building, training, or fine-tuning LL/ML models
Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools
Experience with data platforms like Snowflake
Working knowledge of Node.js
Prior experience working with or a passion for the non-profit sector
