Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and standardize centerline settings, machine setpoints, and operating parameters for production and packaging equipment
Lead process improvement initiatives across changeovers, sanitation, tooling, and workflow efficiency; identify operational losses and drive sustainable solutions
Partner cross-functionally to evaluate and recommend cost-reduction, automation, and capital improvement opportunities
Improve equipment reliability and uptime by analyzing performance data, reducing scrap and waste, and ensuring availability of critical spare parts
Support Commissioning, Validation, and Startup (CVS) activities for capital projects and ensure smooth handoff to operations
Collaborate with Maintenance to strengthen preventive maintenance (PM) programs, spare parts strategies, repair procedures, and overall asset health
Analyze CMMS (M+) work-order data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities to improve maintenance performance
Establish and maintain vendor and contractor documentation standards to support training, onboarding, and operational readiness
Serve as the primary liaison with OEMs, coordinating technician visits and providing on-site technical support as needed
Lead focused initiatives to increase uptime, reduce unplanned downtime, and eliminate chronic equipment failures
Coach and develop Operational Process Leads, forming cross-functional teams as needed to address specific losses, defects, or project initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Required

Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or a related Engineering/Technology discipline from an accredited institution
2–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing, co-packing, or similarly regulated/high-volume environments
Experience developing and writing procedures with cross-functional teams; TPM experience preferred
Working knowledge of SAP, CMMS systems (M+), PLCs, AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD tools, and shop-floor integration
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Hands-on understanding of plant operations, packaging lines, and processing equipment
Proven ability to lead, coach, and influence teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
