Responsibilities
Conduct detailed investigations to determine the extent of compromise to information and automated systems
Respond to escalated security incidents to develop and execute security controls and countermeasures
Research attempted or successful efforts to compromise system security and design countermeasures
Educate on tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in network vulnerabilities and security
Communicate updates effectively to leadership and collaborate with supporting teams and adjacent departments
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in Incident Response or Digital Forensics
Proficient with scripting languages such as Python or Perl
Advanced knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP protocols and networking fundamentals
Hands-on experience with security methodologies
Experience in SOC support
Experience in cyber analysis
Experience in scripting and automation
Ability to conduct detailed investigations to determine the extent of compromise to information and automated systems
Ability to respond to escalated security incidents to develop and execute security controls and countermeasures
Ability to research attempted or successful efforts to compromise system security and design countermeasures
Ability to educate on tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in network vulnerabilities and security
Ability to communicate updates effectively to leadership and collaborate with supporting teams and adjacent departments
Preferred
Prior experience in Cybersecurity, specifically in Incident Detection and Response or a Security Operations Center (SOC)
