Responsibilities
Plans, directs, and reviews the activities of the assigned program/division
Supervises assigned staff
Monitors activities and ensures compliance with State and local policies
Develops and administers division budget
Develops, implements, and updates strategy for community outreach
Coordinates purchase of equipment and supplies
Monitors changes in local demographics and adjusts program to effectively target eligible individuals
Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with preferable coursework in Counseling, Health, Education, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
Five (5) years of health program experience, to include three (3) years of administrative/managerial experience
Valid Class 'C' Texas Driver's License
Preferred
Registered Dietitian and/or Master's Degree
5 years of WIC Experience
5 years of Management Experience
Bilingual in Spanish (read and write)
