Responsibilities
Responsible for the growth and profitability of the loan portfolio, in addition to being accountable for increasing return on investment through customer satisfaction by insuring that the finance staff implements all aspects of the CNAC program
Achieves delinquency goals, charge off goals and collection goals
Communicates directly with customer; seeks information not freely given, overcomes objections, negotiates, and makes decisions leading to win-win outcomes
Insures that CNAC is in compliance with all local, state and federal collection, lending and bankruptcy laws
Performs General Manager duties as backup in the absence of the General Manager
Qualification
Required
Strong internal drive to succeed by adhering to a well defined sales & finance program created for customers
Strong people management skills - provide on-the-spot coaching, hold weekly one-on-one performance meetings with collectors, cross-train for back-ups, and provide formal training
Demonstrates 'street smarts' and understanding of human nature
Excellent computer skills and ability to comprehend and analyze large quantities of data
At least 5 years collections managers experience, must be able to motivate a collections staff to hit their goals consistently
FINANCIAL SAVVY - maximizes the financial contribution of the team
ACTS ETHICALLY - lead by example and practices what is preached
ACTION ORIENTED - quickly zeros in on the critical few issues and puts the trivial aside
ACCOUNTABLE - can be counted on in tough times and takes responsibility
