Responsibilities
Assist with developing and documenting business requirements
Build detailed project plans and execute against defined milestones
Manage project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
Ensure all project deliverables are completed with high quality and on schedule
Prepare and deliver project status reports and updates, both written and oral
Coordinate with internal teams, management, and external vendors
Compile and manage project documentation, metrics, and reports
Support portfolio and program-level planning activities

Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of overall project management experience
1–3+ years of project management experience in a healthcare insurance IT environment
Experience managing multiple high-profile, high-priority IT projects simultaneously
Experience with project planning, effort estimation, and resource allocation
Experience working with healthcare insurance or claims systems
Ability to effectively engage stakeholders with competing priorities
Strong collaboration and facilitation skills
Willingness to work across teams and organizational levels
Project management methodologies and best practices
Risk management and issue tracking
SharePoint and project management tools
MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access
Strong written and verbal communication
Stakeholder management and executive-level presentation skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Relevant professional experience in IT project management, preferably within healthcare or insurance environments
