Micro Precision Calibration is seeking a Calibration Technician to maintain, test, and calibrate various instruments and equipment. The role involves ensuring accurate readings and compliance with internal regulations while working independently and under the supervision of senior technicians.

Responsibilities

Maintaining, testing and calibrating a variety of instruments and equipment

Ensuring that all instruments, meters and test devices are calibrated correctly and perform accurate readings

Complying with the Policy and Quality Manual (QM), Description of the System of Calibration (CSD) of MPC and the internal work regulations

Calibrating a variety of test instruments for one or more skill areas, such as Electrical Equipment, Dimensional Equipment, Industrial / Mechanical Equipment, Temperature Equipment, RF/Optical Equipment, Mechanical

Qualification

Calibration of instrumentsMechanical equipment knowledgeBasic mathematicsMS Word proficiencyMS Excel proficiencyLift 50 lbsInterpersonal skillsCommunication skillsWork independently

Required

Valid Driver's License

Basic mathematics understanding

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Experience in MS Word and Excel

Ability to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Preferred

Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipment

Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools
