The Director will oversee all accounting operations for multiple real estate development projects, manage budgeting and forecasting responsibilities, and drive continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee accounting operations for multiple real estate development/construction projects
Collaborate with Senior Leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning
Ensure internal controls and accounting policies are in place to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance
Partner with project managers, development, operations, and other teams to ensure financial alignment and informed decision-making
Organize the monthly accounting calendar to track key deadlines including close, reconciliations, reporting, and draw submissions

Qualification

CPAReal estate developmentLeadership experienceYardi proficiencyAccounting experience

Required

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA strongly preferred
10+ years of accounting experience, with demonstrated leadership experience
5+ years of real estate development or construction experience
Strong leadership experience, with the ability to oversee a large accounting team
Proficiency with Yardi, or similar real estate software
Ability to work in fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines
