Responsibilities
Works from schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components
Able to set up\ run industrial sewing machines
On/Off-Vehicle includes: Aeroshells, Hatches, and Heatshield
On/Off – MLI installation. Thermal Barrier bonding
Duties will also include Instrumentation, surface preparation for bonding operations
Review and validate MLI and Thermal Barrier processes for accuracy
Aid in establishing on floor thermal barrier and MLI flow plan
Uses standard electronic assembly tools and materials
May perform modifications, rework, and quality testing
Aerospace TPS (Thermal Protection System) experience, past\present with thermal barriers, MLI or equivalent
Qualification
Required
High school diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 0-2 years
