Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement enterprise service bus solutions using IBM IIB and ITX to enable efficient data exchange across systems
Develop and maintain APIs, web services (SOAP, RESTful), and microservices architectures to support scalable integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and translate them into technical specifications aligned with enterprise architecture standards
Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of integration flows to ensure optimal operation
Implement security best practices including cloud security measures, system hardening, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence integration
Manage system configurations such as load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and network security protocols
Utilize DevOps tools like Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines; employ scripting languages such as Shell Scripting, Python, Bash for automation tasks
Maintain documentation of system architecture, design specifications, and operational procedures following SDLC methodologies
Participate in Agile development cycles to deliver continuous improvements and updates to integration solutions
Ensure compliance with IT infrastructure standards including VMware ESXi, Kubernetes orchestration, virtualization technologies like Azure and AWS cloud platforms
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an ESB Developer or Systems Engineer specializing in IBM IIB (WebSphere Message Broker) and ITX (Information Transfer)
Strong background in service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture, system design, and systems engineering principles
Hands-on experience with APIs (RESTful API), web services (SOAP), microservices development using JavaScript, C#, .NET frameworks
Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus
Familiarity with operating systems including Windows and Linux/Unix environments; knowledge of system administration practices is essential
Experience working within cloud environments such as AWS or Azure; understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware ESXi is preferred
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices including cloud security protocols, vulnerability assessment & management, threat intelligence integration
Familiarity with modern development tools such as Git for version control; Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines; Kubernetes for container orchestration; Docker containers is advantageous
Ability to work within an SDLC framework using Agile methodologies; experience with GIT repositories and scripting for automation tasks is highly desirable
Preferred
Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus
Understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware ESXi is preferred
Familiarity with modern development tools such as Git for version control; Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines; Kubernetes for container orchestration; Docker containers is advantageous
