Prepare preliminary reports, recommendations, and technical documentation
Complete required City training modules
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Industrial Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of two years of college coursework completed
Ability to interpret technical drawings, process data, and specifications
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a project-based environment
Support engineers working on mechanical, process, and civil infrastructure within Fort Wayne's water and wastewater facilities
Assist with field inspections and verification of plans and specifications
Help identify infrastructure or process issues and research improvement options
Collect and analyze data for planning, design, and asset tracking
Prepare preliminary reports, recommendations, and technical documentation
Complete required City training modules
Preferred
Interest in environmental engineering or utility operations preferred
Valid Indiana Driver's License
Valid driver's license with a certified driving record if operating a City vehicle
