The Trades Coordinator plays a central role in keeping field operations running smoothly by ensuring efficient scheduling, material readiness, and effective communication among customers and staff.
Consumer Services
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily scheduling and dispatching of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical technicians to ensure timely service delivery
Serve as the primary communication hub between customers, field staff, and internal departments
Track job progress and update work orders in the company’s management system
Order, organize, and distribute materials required for upcoming jobs
Monitor technician availability and workload to optimize productivity and reduce downtime
Assist with permitting, inspections, and compliance documentation for all trades
Support customer service efforts by confirming appointments, answering questions, and resolving scheduling issues
Maintain accurate records of labor hours, job costs, and project timelines
Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to ensure smooth execution of service and installation projects
Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities
Excellent communication abilities across phone, email, and in-person interactions
Proficiency with scheduling or field service software (ServiceTitan, Jobber, or similar)
Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience in a trades, construction, or service-based environment
Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical terminology
