Sr. Land Development Manager

Responsibilities

Lead negotiation and execution of site control agreements such as leases, options, easements, rights‑of‑way, amendments, and related real estate documents
Review and analyze title commitments; identify, manage, and resolve title curative issues (e.g., crossing agreements, mortgage subordinations)
Review and interpret ALTA surveys; coordinate revisions, establish lease and easement boundaries, and communicate survey findings and site constraints to internal teams
Support title insurance negotiations in partnership with internal counsel, external legal teams, and financing stakeholders
Review, evaluate, and revise real estate agreements—including leases, easements, amendments, terminations, memoranda, and estoppels—prior to construction activities
Oversee mineral underwriting processes, order mineral ownership reports, and collaborate with consultants to secure surface waivers
Work closely with internal teams across development, engineering, permitting, legal, finance, and capital markets throughout project development and financing
Manage external consultants by preparing scopes of work, monitoring deliverables, and ensuring quality and adherence to timelines

Required

5+ years of progressive experience in real estate title, land development, or related work—preferably within renewable energy or infrastructure
Ability to read and interpret legal documents, title commitments, and ALTA surveys
Proficiency with mapping and land evaluation tools (e.g., Google Earth, GIS, ALTA survey review)
Ability to work from a designated office location at least 3 days per week
Willingness to travel up to 30%
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of integrity
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Demonstrated adaptability and collaboration across teams
Resourceful, persistent, and solution‑oriented

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business, law, land use planning, or a related field (preferred)
