Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and actions per site protocol
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations
Monitor access points, lobbies, and restricted areas, assisting with visitor management procedures and directing employees and guests as needed
Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision
Support security-related screening and package or property control procedures as required by site policy, while maintaining a professional customer service approach
Operate site communication systems, including radios and phones, to coordinate responses and request assistance when needed
Complete daily activity reports and incident reports with clear, factual information in accordance with site requirements
Assist with emergency response activities such as evacuation support, fire panel notifications, and/or medical response coordination per site procedures
Work in various indoor and outdoor conditions during patrols and post assignments, with duties that may vary by shift and location needs
Qualification
Required
Have 1 or more years of security-related experience
Be 21 or more years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
