Responsibilities
Develop an understanding of how a particular section of the ship is being built
Identify deficiencies and potential improvements to the build strategy
Work closely with the Build Strategy Team Major Area Team Leader (MATL) who is responsible for coordinating efforts within a particular area of the ship
Qualification
Required
BS degree or higher in Mechanical, Marine, Aeronautical, Civil, Chemical, or related engineering discipline
0-5 years of engineering experience
Preferred
Master's degree in Mechanical, Marine, Aeronautical, Civil, Chemical, or related engineering discipline
1-4 years of engineering experience
Construction support experience
Manufacturing and Planning experience
Strong oral and written skills are necessary to communicate directly with our stakeholders and Navy Customers
Ability to develop and deliver technical presentations
