The role involves driving catering and event revenues through proactive sales efforts and relationship management, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Generate catering and event revenue through targeted prospecting, client retention, and regional outreach
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed quarterly & annual revenue goals
Conduct site tours, client presentations, and lead contract negotiations
Customize proposals based on client vision, event requirements, and budget
Coordinate effectively with the planning team to ensure client expectations are translated into actionable event details
Maintain accurate records within the Delphi event management system, including proposals, contracts, and specifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field - or equivalent industry experience
Previous experience in catering event sales, conference services, or event planning
Proven success in generating sales and building long-term client relationships
Strong knowledge of catering trends, food and beverage, and event operations
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven, high-volume environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Delphi is preferred
Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment
Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays
