Responsibilities

Strengthening the Quality Management System by ensuring all customer, regulatory, and product requirements are consistently met and exceeded
Participate in and validate Root Cause Corrective Actions to ensure effective problem resolution
Develop/Maintain Receiving Inspection templates maintaining conformity of all incoming materials and hardware
Create and refine processes as gaps are identified to ensure compliance across all supervised areas
Provide metrology expertise and technical oversight for the inspection department
Coach supervisors and direct reports to prioritize workloads in alignment with organizational requirements
Support customer and regulatory audits as needed
Coordinate final preparation activities to ensure on‑time delivery within ERP and scheduling systems
Schedule and oversee source inspections and ensure successful completion of source audits
Monitor process efficiency and collaborate with others to continuously improve inspection plans
Report quality or process concerns related to equipment, materials, or labor to the Quality Manager
Assist in developing and executing Quality Training Plans in partnership with the Training Coordinator
Approve timecards for direct reports and when acting on behalf of the Quality Manager
Conduct performance reviews, establish clear goals, and hold employees accountable
Develop and mentor employees to support growth and team capability
Implement emergency action plans to ensure employee safety during plant emergencies
Communicate new procedures and upcoming events to team
Manage team issues responsibly and escalate to the Quality Manager when appropriate
Maintain reliable and punctual attendance in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
Comply with all safety, quality, and personnel policies as required
Company travel as needed
Actively engage in team process improvement
Perform other duties as assigned for the good of the team and company

Required

Minimum Bachelor's Degree or cumulative field experience of 5 years
A minimum of 3 years' experience in one or more of the following: Quality systems, product acceptance criteria, working knowledge of GD&T, digital inspection techniques, and process compliance management
Must be able to use common office software systems relating to data entry and ERP system
Strong communications skills, including the ability to work with customers, co-workers, other departments, and suppliers
Ability to facilitate as needed on continuous improvement projects and develop corrective action plans that support the elimination of nonconforming product
Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to identify, organize and execute a documented improvement plan and the team members best suited to execute a successful plan
