Global Sales Development Manager
AgilePerformance & Talent LLC is working with Fiber Global, a climate technology company focused on advancing building materials. They are seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Manager to generate new business, nurture customer relationships, and contribute to sales targets during a high-growth phase.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with company goals and drive revenue growth in target markets
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets, expanding the company’s market share and customer base
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team sales targets
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships
Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring an efficient and effective pipeline
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, and adjust sales strategies accordingly
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product offerings, staying updated on new developments and effectively communicating product value propositions to clients
Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management and making data-driven recommendations for improvement
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and customer satisfaction
Budget Management: Manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and maximizing return on investment (ROI)
Account Management: Make sure existing customers are happy with our services and products
Assist with coordination of internal raw material movements between storage areas and production as needed
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to support planning and material availability goals
Ensure all inbound logistics processes follow safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
2 years in a sales development role creating new outbound sales opportunities in the physical goods space
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools
Deep understanding of the building materials industry and market dynamics
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support sales efforts
Preferred
MBA is a plus
Relevant sales or management certifications are a plus
