Merchandising Specialist
ePromos Promotional Products is seeking a Merchandising Specialist to support the Corporate Merchandising Manager with client account execution and strategy. Responsibilities
Meet regularly with Program Account Managers
Prepare monthly velocity reports and scorecards
Analyze performance data to support SKU rationalization and identify optimization opportunities
Conduct carbon footprint reporting in alignment with client requirements (quarterly, annually, etc.)
Monitor and analyze Google Analytics for product engagement trends and recommend placement changes
Lead routine account refreshes that are in line with client goals
Own all client sourcing requests (including one-off, reference-based, and Limited Time Buys) following internal Sourcing Protocol
Curate customized product assortments aligned to brand guidelines and client goals
Price products and develop decks with branded visuals, specs, and cost data
Manage Limited Time Buy (LTB) sourcing, leveraging historical performance to inform selections
Evaluate SKU expansion requests for feasibility based on account capacity
Proactively identify underperforming SKUs through SKU Rationalization and recommend items for promotion or phase-out
Support reorder scenarios by identifying equivalent Elite SKUs
Utilize internal systems (e.g., NetSuite) and external sources to identify trends across categories
Share findings with the Merchandising Manager to inform Core Store development and client recommendations
Integrate trend insights into assortment planning and client refresh cycles
Support the Corporate Merchandising Manager in launching new client stores by leading meetings, capturing detailed notes, sending timely recaps, and sourcing products aligned with brand and merchandising objectives
Participate in recurring client calls to gather insights on upcoming merchandising needs
Capture and distribute detailed meeting notes for internal and client meetings
Create and deliver high-quality product decks and client-facing presentations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years of experience in the promotional products industry
Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions (pivot tables, v-lookups, data validation, etc.)
Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and turning insights into actionable merchandising strategies
Working knowledge of Google Analytics, NetSuite (or similar ERP), and e-commerce platforms
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
High attention to detail and organizational discipline
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience creating polished, client-ready presentations using PowerPoint
Ability to work both independently and in team environments
