Responsibilities
Act as a technical lead on key projects, managing priorities, risks, and timelines effectively
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing
Ability to explain complex processes and mentor less experienced engineers
Ability to communicate with business owners in order to translate requirements into discrete tasks with specifications than can be understood and implemented by other engineers
Excellent problem-solving skills with proven ability to find creative solutions to various issues
Qualification
Required
JavaScript (Node.js), Docker, and a database technology (MongoDB, SQL Server, MySQL)
Source code control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
Experience with at least one of the cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure, Digital Ocean etc
Understanding of RESTful APIs
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated team player who can be counted on to do his/her part of the work and be relied on to complete tasks on time and work cooperatively with others
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
Excellent problem-solving skills with proven ability to find creative solutions to various issues
Familiarity with the Agile Methodology and strong understanding of the SDLC
Ability to communicate with business owners in order to translate requirements into discrete tasks with specifications than can be understood and implemented by other engineers
Ability to explain complex processes and mentor less experienced engineers
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing

5+ years of full stack development experience
Preferred
Experience with cloud messaging and storage is a bonus
Experience with financial transaction processing a plus
Formal educational experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other closely related field is preferred
