Director Brand Strategy
BRIX Holdings is seeking a Director of Brand Strategy to define and steward the long-term strategic direction of its portfolio of brands. This role involves leading brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and strategic guardrails to guide marketing and guest experiences across various channels.

Responsibilities
Lead brand positioning, messaging architecture, and strategic guardrails for each brand, ensuring relevance and differentiation across in-restaurant, off-premise, and digital environments
Define how each brand shows up across the digital shelf, online ordering, and third-party marketplaces while maintaining a cohesive brand identity
Serve as the primary steward of brand strategy, balancing consistency with innovation as guest behaviors and channels evolve
Translate consumer, market, loyalty, off-premise, and digital performance insights into actionable brand and growth strategies
Lead and partner with the Mgr, Loyalty & Guest Insights to leverage guest data, ordering behavior, and channel performance to inform brand decisions
Monitor competitive activity, platform evolution, and category trends, with particular focus on off-premise and digital commerce
Own the annual marketing calendar and promotional strategy, ensuring alignment to brand strategy and business priorities across dine-in, off-premise, and digital channels
Lead and partner with the Manager, Calendar & Promotions to ensure promotions and LTOs are strategically sequenced and optimized for both in-restaurant and digital shelf performance
Ensure promotional strategies support traffic, conversion, and basket growth across all ordering platforms
Guide the development of campaign briefs, defining objectives, target audiences, strategic insights, and channel roles, including off-premise and digital shelf considerations
Establish success measurement frameworks that evaluate brand health, guest engagement, and performance across physical and digital touchpoints
Partner with Brand Engagement and analytics teams to assess results and translate learnings into optimizations and future strategies
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Manager, Off-Premise & Digital Shelf, ensuring digital commerce and marketplace execution aligns with brand strategy
Define strategic priorities for online ordering, brand website UX, third-party platforms, and emerging digital shelf opportunities (e.g., Amazon)
Ensure off-premise and digital shelf performance is treated as a core component of brand health and growth, not a separate executional track
Partner closely with Brand Engagement to ensure brand strategy is translated clearly and consistently through creative, media, digital, off-premise, and in-store execution
Collaborate with operations, finance, and franchise partners to ensure strategies are executable and aligned with operational realities
Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on brand, growth, and channel strategy
Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for off-premise & digital shelf strategy, calendar & promotions, and loyalty & guest insights
Set clear priorities and expectations, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, accountability, and collaboration
Build team capabilities in insight-driven decision-making, omni-channel brand stewardship, and performance-based planning
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required
8–12+ years of experience in brand strategy, brand management, or marketing leadership roles
Proven experience leading brand positioning work, integrated campaigns, and annual marketing planning
Demonstrated experience incorporating off-premise and digital commerce into brand and growth strategies
Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
Deep expertise in brand strategy, positioning, and messaging across omni-channel environments
Strong understanding of off-premise, digital commerce, and digital shelf dynamics within restaurant or retail ecosystems
Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear, actionable strategies
Strong leadership, communication, and influence skills, with comfort operating at executive and cross-functional levels
Ability to balance long-term brand building with near-term performance and growth objectives
Highly collaborative mindset with experience partnering across marketing, operations, analytics, and agency teams
Preferred
MBA preferred
restaurant, retail, or consumer brand experience strongly preferred
Experience working in multi-brand or franchise-driven organizations is a plus
