The selected candidate will work with various data management governance, data architecture, and data quality teams to manage data dictionaries, data lineage, and metadata within the Metadata Repository.

Responsibilities
Lead data governance guidance and support efforts for business process and control owners
Understand business processes, risks, and controls to use data governance practices for compliance
Provide data governance and management support of critical data use in metrics and reporting
Work closely with data owners in the identification and documentation of business and technical metadata
Identify data quality or policy adherence issues and escalate accordingly
Support application owners' adherence to global records management policy
Qualification
Required
10 years in roles that demand critical thinking and problem solving
5 years' experience in roles requiring strong technical and analytical skills (not developer roles)
5 years' experience in data governance and/or metadata management
Proven experience in pro-actively managing processes, routines, and deliverables
Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight
Motivated, willing to learn, and self-driven to ramp up and learn what is needed for the role
Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to gain cooperation from various stakeholders
Preferred
Experience creating/designing Visio diagrams and process flows
Experience managing data incidents through to remediation
Experience in ensuring quality and integrity of metadata
