Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance modern, responsive front-end applications
Lead UI development using React (preferred) or similar frameworks such as Vue or Angular
Implement clean, maintainable UI code using JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS
Collaborate with UX, backend, and system teams to translate requirements into high-quality user experiences
Ensure UI solutions are scalable, performant, and aligned with mission requirements
Support full-stack development efforts by integrating UI components with backend services
Work with backend systems through WebSockets and service-based integrations
Operate within a Linux (RedHat) development environment
Maintain awareness of backend functionality to ensure seamless front-end interaction and data flow
Develop and maintain test cases to validate UI functionality and system behavior
Collaborate with Test teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify coverage gaps and edge cases
Support automated UI testing efforts using Java and Selenium where appropriate
Ensure testing aligns with evolving UI and system requirements without being the primary focus of the role
Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development
Build and manage projects using Maven
Develop, test, and deploy applications within Docker and Kubernetes environments
Support CI/CD workflows and containerized execution pipelines
Use development tools such as VS Code or Eclipse
