Responsibilities
High voltage power supply circuit design
Testing and troubleshooting of circuits
Supporting customer meetings, milestones (CDR, PDR, MRR …) and guiding the team through those events
Mentor, develop and train engineers
Actively seek out innovative technologies and oversee new product development to ensure continued industry leadership
Support new business activity through proposal review and improvements on current designs
Qualification
Required
Engineering Degree in a related field, EE preferred, with post graduate work a plus
12 years' experience designing and testing electronic power conditioners or other similar power supplies, with work in the space industry a massive plus
Demonstrated experience in senior engineering role
Understanding and comfort with EE design aspects such circuit design, electric stress analysis, worst case analysis, single event upset and others
Proficient with of circuit design tools a plus
Proven record in leading and growing an engineering team and running development projects
Strong problem-solving skills, utilizing industry-standard root cause corrective action (RCCA) methodologies
Must possess exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications is necessary
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (e.g. Green Card holder), or a protected individual as defined by the International Traffic in Arm Regulations (ITAR)
Preferred
Hands on engineering experience with PPUs or other high voltage products a nice to have
