Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with case management through all phases of litigation including: drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, conducting legal research, expert letters, assisting with trial preparation and attending trials, etc
Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and meetings
E-file court documents and handle filings in the Philadelphia court system. Prior experience with the Philadelphia court system is essential (NJ is a plus)
Maintain consistent communication with clients, experts, and courts
Qualification
Required
5 years+ of plaintiff's litigation experience, including med mal
Familiarity with Philadelphia court procedures and ability to do filings in all counties in PA & NJ
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree a plus, but not required
Familiarity with FileVine a plus!
