Responsibilities
Write, shoot, and edit video content to promote our “12 On Your Side” brand, First Alert Weather, and CW Richmond
Write/Shoot/Edit public service announcements and event sponsorships, as needed
Assist in station-sponsored events when needed
Work with news and marketing teams to promote upcoming stories, specials, and special coverage as needed
Create and post digital brand content to social media
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop required
2+ years of video production experience, which includes an understanding of broadcast video and lighting
A self-starter able to produce station promos from concept to completion - this includes writing scripts, shooting, editing, and production of graphics
Ability to collaborate with multiple departments on project development and assist with other duties as assigned
Strong communication and organizational skills
Demo reel of previous work required - please provide a link
Drug screen, MVR check required
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications (or similar), or equivalent work experience preferred
Drone experience/certification a plus
Background in design and motion graphics is a bonus
