Responsibilities
Perform all facets of the accounting function for clients from initiation to financial statement preparation and reporting
Must have a good grasp of accounting principles, standards and reporting, including familiarity with all bases of accounting
Good working knowledge of federal and state income tax returns for C and S corporations and partnerships, ability to identify issues and research with assistance
Qualification
Required
3 to 6 years of accounting and tax experience in a CPA Firm
Good grasp of accounting principles, standards and reporting
Knowledge of payroll items and platforms for input and review for submission for payroll processing
Good working knowledge of federal and state income tax returns for C and S corporations and partnerships
Proficiency with accounting software like QuickBooks desktop and online
Proficiency in web-based applications and remote access to company server/cloud solution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detailed oriented, with a focus on quality
Quickbooks: 3 years
U.S. accounting: 3 years
U.S. corporate tax: 3 years
U.S. payroll: 3 years
Ability to Commute: Lisle, IL 60532
Preferred
CPA designation or similar, or enrolled in a program to attain it
Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP) knowledge
