Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a Senior Electronics Technician to join their Shelby team. The role involves supporting the design engineering team with aerospace-grade electrical assemblies and testing, including soldering and documentation, while also providing opportunities for test setup design and ownership.

Responsibilities

Assembly and rework of circuit boards and harnesses to class 3 IPC standards
Test setup design and/or assembly
Debug electrical assemblies and harnesses
Provide test data/reports
Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and quality

Qualification

Soldering electronics assemblyTest setup designTest equipmentBoard designCAD tools usageGeneral PC usageMicrosoft Office

Required

Must be a US Citizen
High school or Equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology preferred
2-3 years of experience
Soldering electronics assembly to IPC class 3
Knowledge of basic test equipment such as power supplies, DMMs, and oscilloscopes
General PC usage and use of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to use CAD tools such as Altium for electrical and Siemens NX for mechanical
Board design
Test and test set up design

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
Familiarity with aerospace-grade components and specifications
Design of circuit boards and harnesses is a welcome, but not required skillset
A willingness to build on and improve previous knowledge and skillsets is encouraged to support continuous improvement
