Mechanical Engineer
Clean Harbors is the premier industrial cleaning and environmental services company in North America, and they are seeking a Mechanical Engineer. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing mechanical systems, conducting performance testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.

Responsibilities
Accountable for the overall safety, quality, and success of the project assigned
Corrects deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, lost productivity, harm to equipment, or is inconsistent with our client’s requirements and policies and procedures
Communicate updates with team and client as needed
Develop and refine mechanical systems, components, and devices using CAD software, ensuring designs meet project requirements from concept through production
Plan and perform tests to measure system performance, safety, and efficiency, and use results to confirm design quality and compliance with standards
Identify and resolve issues in designs or existing systems, recommending improvements to increase reliability, functionality, and overall performance
Partner with engineers, technicians, and project stakeholders to align on specifications, resolve technical challenges, and support manufacturing processes
Prepare clear technical reports, drawings, and presentations to communicate design details, test results, and project updates to management and clients
May be assigned additional duties not listed above based on business needs
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 to 7 years in Mechanical Engineering experience required
Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and ability in Mechanical Engineering
3D cad required– Solid Works preferred
Design for manufacturing helpful
Strong mechanical aptitude
Project management from conception to completion
Good communication
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to comprehend the English language, written and verbal
BS in Mechanical Engineering required
Preferred
Experience in industrial cleaning industry a plus
Prior project management a plus
