Responsibilities
Hands-on experience with 3.0, 3.1, and 4.0
Hands-on CPE DOCSIS & Network Infrastructure
Hands-on with AIDMA and OFDMA
Hands-on with RF
Knowledge and understanding of Cable Modem Configuration files CPE DOCSIS (CM), CMTS, iCMTS, Wi-Fi FW (Firmware and Log Analysis), and CPE operations. Help identify issues with the Modems, Root Cause Analysis and Device Analysis
Experience building and validating network testing labs (switches, PDUs, modems, ONUs)
Experience with Linux jump boxes, including Bash configurations, SSH key authentication, and developer tooling
Proficient in Python, Perl, Shell, SQL, REST APIs, and Linux systems
Understand WiFi
Read Log
Troubleshot logs
Find issues with logs
Qualification
Required
DOCSIS Network Engineer or WIFI Engineer
Hands-on experience with 3.0, 3.1, and 4.0
