Responsibilities
Review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns; prepare highly complex returns as needed
Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing tax issues and coordinating related entity filings
Perform detailed reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables
Review quarterly and annual accounting procedures to support tax compliance and planning
Analyze organizational structures for tax implications and ensure accurate filings
Prepare estimated tax liabilities and deliver proactive tax planning strategies
Supervise, train, and mentor team members, including conducting performance evaluations
Research, document, and present solutions to complex tax issues
Communicate tax planning recommendations with clients and other professional advisors
Manage engagements, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines
Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and best practices through ongoing professional development
Meet annual billable hour and performance targets
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of experience in tax preparation and review
CPA license or CPA-eligible
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Strong knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Ability to adapt to changing tax regulations and provide strategic planning guidance
Proficiency with tax preparation software and related tools
Proven leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Analytical skills to resolve complex tax matters
