Responsibilities
Assess current data governance frameworks, policies, and processes across the organization
Define and recommend a future-state Data Governance operating model aligned with business objectives and industry best practices
Develop a roadmap and bridging strategy to transition from current-state to future-state DG capabilities
Lead and facilitate discussions with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT, and data management teams, ensuring alignment and consensus
Guide implementation of Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Reference Data Management solutions for insurance carriers
Provide hands-on expertise with Alation for data cataloging, stewardship, and metadata management
Leverage Google Cloud Platform capabilities for data governance, data catalog, and cloud-based data management solutions
Modern Data Governance experience with a focus on AI-led initiatives and opportunities to leverage Agentic and Generative AI capabilities
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in data governance
Expertise in data governance frameworks and operating models
Deep experience in the insurance industry
Proven track record of designing and implementing robust Data Governance programs
Ability to facilitate discussions across business and technical stakeholders
Guide the implementation of Data Governance solutions
Ensure alignment with enterprise objectives
Expertise in Alation for data cataloging, stewardship, and metadata management
Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data governance, data catalog, and cloud-based data management solutions
Modern Data Governance experience with a focus on AI-led initiatives and opportunities to leverage Agentic and Generative AI capabilities
