National and Strategic Accounts Business Analyst

Pratt Industries is seeking a National and Strategic Accounts Business Analyst who will serve as a crucial liaison between the National & Strategic Accounts team and various internal groups. The role involves coordinating large account bids, developing pricing strategies, and conducting financial analyses to enhance profitability and value across the organization.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the bid strategy conference call and manage all follow-up activities to secure plant participation and alignment on bid strategy
Analyze detailed customer specifications and collaborate with manufacturing to assess plant capabilities, capacity, and determine a strategic pricing approach
Develop comprehensive customer pricing models by inputting plant pricing/estimates
Analyze customer pricing models during Requests for Quote (RFQs), identifying potential pitfalls, proposing customer changes, and adjusting models to maximize National Account value
Develop pricing models/matrices and present them effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
Perform comprehensive financial and cost analysis, including interpretation of profitability summaries for bid reviews
Conduct detailed analysis of key initiatives, such as cost savings projects, product mix shifts, and board grade substitutions
Assist with customer contract reviews to ensure target profitability levels are met
Conduct detailed cost-versus-benefit analysis for various initiatives
Perform comprehensive customer and product analysis (market and financial)
Assist in developing and implementing new and improved processes to standardize operations. This includes, but is not limited to, the bid process, pricing analysis reporting, IT projects, bid scorecard results, and contract/deal worksheet management

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics is required or a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Packaging
Minimum of 3 years of financial or analytical experience
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google G-Suite
Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and oral
Organizational and Time Management Skills

Strategic thinking and Problem Solving

Preferred

A post-graduate degree is a plus
Prior corrugated packaging background (design, sales, and manufacturing) preferred
AmTech proficiency is a plus
