Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain industrial control system solutions including DCS, PLC, and HMI programs to meet operational needs
Implement software updates, patches, and manage network data and files to ensure system integrity and security
Create, test, and archive backups and disaster recovery files for critical systems and networks
Monitor KPIs for the Process Control Network (PCN) and initiate corrective actions to optimize system performance
Collaborate with plant management, engineers, maintenance teams, and contractors to provide expert guidance and support control system upgrades and troubleshooting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical, Chemical, or related field from an ABET-accredited institution
At least 1 year of experience designing, commissioning, and maintaining DCS-based control systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
Experience supporting and maintaining industrial automation networks, including firewalls and remote implementations
Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, and understanding of networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, and QoS
Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
