Responsibilities
Develop and maintain MUMPS software in a fast-paced, Agile environment
Diagnose and fix issues affecting VistA products for our Veterans Affairs (VA) client
Analyze user needs and the environment to ensure solutions consider current architecture and future enhancements
Implement system improvements and work collaboratively within a team community
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience with MUMPS software development
Experience with MUMPS software development and working in VistA environments using FileMan
Knowledge of HL7 messaging development
Knowledge of software development
Knowledge of design or architectural patterns
Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs
Ability to understand front-end users' requirements
Ability to communicate with front-end users to replicate their issues
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Associate's degree in a CS field
Preferred
Experience working in VistA environments
Experience troubleshooting VA clinical products
Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, and GitHub
Experience with Microsoft Teams collaboration tools
Experience in the VA or DoD
Knowledge of Agile frameworks
Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle Process, including Agile development, Scrum, or Kanban
Bachelor's degree in a CS field
SAFe Certifications
VistA or MUMPS Learning Program Certification
