Responsibilities
Executive meetings: You will lead and improve executive preparation and communication from board meetings to weekly all-hands. You will ensure the CEO and stakeholders are ready for key meetings and may stand-in for the CEO if required
Ops visibility & operating model: Scaling a growing company requires prioritization and clear communication up, down, and across the company. A major part of success will be increasing data availability and visibility to key stakeholders, especially the executive team. You will build clarity into the strategic planning, strategy accountability, and operating model to improve execution
Strategic support: Help CEO and co-founders create, revise, and refine company strategy and policies ranging from hiring to working norms to performance management
Special projects: You may be asked to launch new initiatives necessary for the company when there is no clear functional leader
Qualification
Required
High-performing Chief of Staff to act as a strategic operator to the CEO
Build and manage the company's operating cadence
Align cross-functional priorities
Ensure the company achieves its ambitious goals
Lead and improve executive preparation and communication from board meetings to weekly all-hands
Ensure the CEO and stakeholders are ready for key meetings
Stand-in for the CEO if required
Increase data availability and visibility to key stakeholders, especially the executive team
Build clarity into the strategic planning, strategy accountability, and operating model to improve execution
Help CEO and co-founders create, revise, and refine company strategy and policies
Launch new initiatives necessary for the company when there is no clear functional leader
Demonstrate quick learning and strong first-principles reasoning
Independently produce accurate, well-structured work
Convert nebulous direction into a clear plan
Align stakeholders and help teams adopt new ways of working
Act with initiative and proactively fill gaps to keep work moving forward
Operate with uncompromising ethics and respect for confidentiality
