Mid, Senior LevelNuvoulegal is seeking a strong Senior Litigation Associate or Lateral Junior Partner to join their practice. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator with a deep background in civil litigation and/or public sector litigation, who is confident managing cases independently and serving as first chair on matters.

Responsibilities
Independently manage a full caseload of complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
Develop and execute litigation strategy, including motion practice and discovery
Draft and argue substantive motions and pleadings
Advise clients directly and maintain primary responsibility for case management
Collaborate with partners and junior attorneys as needed
For public sector candidates: handle matters involving government entities, regulatory bodies, or public interest litigation (as applicable)
Qualification
Required
Significant civil litigation experience and/or public sector litigation experience
Proven ability to manage files autonomously with minimal supervision
Demonstrated experience acting as first or second chair attorney on contested matters
Strong courtroom presence and advocacy skills
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy abilities
Admission in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction(s)
Preferred
Trial experience beyond motion practice
Experience mentoring junior attorneys or supervising litigation teams
