Staff Project Engineer

Responsibilities
Responsible for guiding 2-3 agile teams through agile development of operational baseline updates
Facilitate all Scrum Meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives)
Promote Agile principles and best practices within the team and across the organization
Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized backlog
Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders
Track team performance metrics and support continuous improvement efforts
Identify and remove impediments to team progress
Ensure transparency of progress through radiators like burndown charts, dashboards, etc
Ensure compliance with government regulations, reporting requirements, and security protocols
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
Experience in IT, Fullstack, Software, or systems engineering and working with engineering teams
Scrum master certification required
Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence, etc)
This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and holds an Interim Secret security clearance to start
