Responsibilities

Mid-Level Drainage Design Engineer for public and private stormwater projects from inception to Final Design
Interact with agencies for coordination of design necessary to gain permit sign-offs and approvals
Assist the management team with development of strategies for scope and schedule for the delivery of technical reports and design documents

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the analysis and design of stormwater, hydrology, hydraulics, drainage systems and green infrastructure practices
Experience performing analysis and design of drainage systems to meet agency permitting requirements including assistance in the development of SWPPPs (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans)
Experience in modeling programs including HEC-RAS, TR-55, SWMM including hydraulic analysis of culverts and bridge structures
Experience in stormwater management to meet water quality and quantity for flow restriction and mitigation techniques
Coordination with team members conducting NEPA process activities
Experience in the hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design of stormwater systems to meet agency requirements
Responsibility to meet scope, schedule, budget and quality for the delivery of study reports, calculations and design documents
Experience working with other engineering disciplines and public agencies/municipalities
Experience with either AutoCAD-Civil 3D and/or Microstation ORD is required

Preferred

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New York preferred; E.I.T. with requisite experience will be considered
Experience in the design of sanitary and stormwater pump stations is preferred
