This role involves overseeing financial reporting, managing operations, and collaborating with external advisors to enhance financial systems and processes.

Responsibilities
Lead all accounting and financial reporting functions across the family office entities
Manage day-to-day operations, including general ledger oversight, consolidations, cash flow management, and tax coordination
Prepare and present financial statements, investment performance reports, and other key metrics to family office leadership
Collaborate with external advisors, tax professionals, and investment teams to ensure seamless financial operations
Support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts in partnership with the head of the Family Office
Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and robust internal controls
Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial reporting
Responsibilities include transferring assets and money movement, cash management and RMDs
Manage life events
Manage third parties operational aspects including reporting on account holdings and investment performance, posting daily cash activity, and entering trade instructions
Manage all expenses within the business. Lead business and entity budgeting
Oversee client insurance and annuities processes
Keeps current on estate, tax and planning trends and their application to solutions for the family
Create strong working relationships with external COI’s (attorneys, accountants, and other advisors)
Qualification
Required
8 years of experience minimum
Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex, UHNW multi-generational wealth planning and strategy, typically with families with assets under management $100M and above. Leads and is primarily responsible for proactive and comprehensive advice around wealth transfer tax planning, income tax planning, capital sufficiency analysis, charitable planning, asset protection, executive benefits and business owner planning
Proven ability to effectively execute the financial planning and advice process: identify and prioritize goals and objectives, gather data, analyze current course and potential alternative courses of action, developing and presenting recommendations, partnering for implementation and monitoring progress
Complex technical knowledge of issues relating to financial planning including, but not limited to: income tax, investments, debt management, estate planning, and business planning
Familiarity with corporate tax, trust accounting, and partnership structures
Expertise in financial reporting, multi-entity structures, and investment accounting
Advanced verbal, problem solving, and analytical skills
BA/BS degree
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills
Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and organize workflow
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high intensity work environment as well as manage multiple tasks effectively with frequent interruptions
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel & PowerPoint
Preferred
CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred
Big 4 Accounting experience is a plus
