Branch Safety Engineer
Performance Contracting Group is a national employee-owned specialty contractor committed to safety and inclusiveness. They are seeking a Branch Safety Engineer to implement and administer safety plans, provide technical expertise, and ensure compliance with safety procedures at the Londonderry, NH operations.

Responsibilities
Assist the branch with implementing and administering PCG and client accident prevention plans, policies, and procedures
Ensure that the company and client safety reports, statistics, and documentation are submitted in a timely manner
Provide safety technical expertise and support to the branch
Promote safety procedures and safe work practices
Assist in the investigation of work-related injuries, illnesses, and near-miss incidents
Enforce corrective action to prevent the recurrence of hazardous conditions or behaviors
Practice timely and accurate accident reporting
Review all accidents and investigation reports
Act as a liaison between the company and the client regarding site safety management
Assist in identifying, correcting, and mitigating routine and non-routine safety and health hazards
Council and coach workers to gain compliance with the accident prevention plans, policies, and procedures
Provide safety resources for workers
Identify, anticipate, and evaluate potential safety and health hazards
Conduct job site inspections and periodic audits to establish and evaluate the level of compliance
Establish branch and project safety goals
Evaluate and approve safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualification
Required
OSHA 500 certification
Good communication skills
Motivated self-starter willing to take initiative
Demonstrated strong work ethic through internship or labor experience in the field
Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
Work well under pressure and a deadline
Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
Ability to plan and organize your day, as well as assigned projects
Able to work with customers, building strong relationships
