Responsibilities
Partner with scheduling and operations managers to plan and anticipate caregiving needs
Develop and execute caregiver recruitment strategies to meet current and projected staffing needs
Source candidates through job boards, referral programs, CNA schools, community partnerships, etc
Screen applications, conduct phone and in-person/virtual interviews, and evaluate both technical skills and soft skills (communication, reliability, empathy, professionalism)
Verify certifications, work eligibility, and job requirements through reference checks and criminal background checks via IDPH portal
Send applicants for biometric fingerprints when applicable
Maintain applicant tracking and employee documentation systems via WellSky
Independently conduct training and orientation sessions for new hires, including agency expectations, policies, and client care standards
Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to HR Manager
Promote a positive candidate experience and represent our agency brand professionally
Qualification
Required
3+ years of relevant experience in recruitment
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent hands-on caregiving experience in home care, long-term care, or healthcare settings strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of non-medical home care services and caregiver roles
Must be fluent in spoken and written English
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
