Responsibilities
Perform basic assembly and test functions using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment
Record test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters
Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives
Produce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specifications, ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards
Perform touch-up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, and glaze. Mix paint and clean parts
Actively participate in lean initiatives by identifying and suggesting areas for improvement
Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area
Ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule
Qualification
Required
Able to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions
Ability to calculate basic shop math
Proficient in computer use
At least two or more years of manufacturing experience, including assembly
Preferred
Post-secondary education in electronics technology
Soldering experience
