IT Project Manager

Playhouse Square is seeking an IT Project Manager who will serve as both project leader and business analyst. This role involves guiding cross-functional teams to deliver technological solutions that meet business objectives, managing project plans and schedules, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure technology projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
Provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. Monitor progress against milestones and adjust schedules as needed to keep project on track
Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders
Provide regular updates on project status, decisions, and deliverables, ensuring alignment and transparency
Other IT duties as assigned
Work with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, assess current processes, and identify gaps
Translate needs into functional specifications and create business cases and ROI analysis to justify proposed solutions
Conduct process reviews and gap analysis to identify inefficiencies
Recommend and implement improvements to optimize workflows and enhance system performance
Promote adoption of innovative technologies and automation opportunities
Ensure solutions align with business objectives and support digital transformation initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Detail oriented, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness
Ability to approach problems logically and develop effective solutions
Strong communication skills with ability to convey ideas and information effectively to diverse audiences
Ability to build strong relationships and work well across teams
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Embrace digital tools and promote innovation
Ability to move between buildings within the district to work with staff and other stakeholders in locations outside of main administrative office

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred

Experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or in a process improvement role desired
Professional certification such as PMP, CAPM, CBAP, or PMI-PBA is desired but not required
