Sr. Director – OSAT Sales

Tata Electronics is a prominent global player in the electronics manufacturing industry, and they are seeking a Sr. Director – OSAT Sales to lead their global sales strategy and customer engagement for the Semiconductor Assembly and Test business. This role is focused on driving revenue growth and building long-term strategic partnerships with Tier-1 semiconductor companies.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute Tata Electronics’ OSAT sales strategy to achieve aggressive revenue and margin targets
Identify, pursue, and close multimillion‑dollar opportunities in assembly, packaging, and test services across leading semiconductor segments (mobile, compute, automotive, industrial, power, etc.)
Drive adoption of packaging offerings such as Wirebond, FC-BGA, FC-CSP, and other emerging technologies
Own executive‑level relationships with Tier‑1 semiconductor companies globally
Lead strategic account planning, including contract negotiations, pricing strategy, long-term supply agreements, and quarterly business reviews
Serve as the voice of the customer internally to influence technology roadmaps, manufacturing readiness, and operational excellence
Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, R&D, Finance, and Program Management to deliver on customer commitments
Work with the Technology and Packaging teams to align customer needs with Tata Electronics’ roadmap and investment decisions
Ensure smooth NPI execution and transition to high‑volume manufacturing
Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, technology transitions, and pricing benchmarks
Provide insights to senior leadership on market shifts, emerging opportunities, and investment priorities
Represent Tata Electronics at major industry forums and customer events
Build and lead a high-performing global sales team
Foster a culture of accountability, customer‑centricity, and continuous improvement
Coach team members on strategic selling, technical knowledge, and negotiation excellence

Required

15–20+ years of experience in semiconductor OSAT sales, business development, or account leadership
Demonstrated success managing high-value, multi-year engagements with leading semiconductor companies
Deep knowledge of packaging technologies, test methodologies, supply chain dynamics, and industry cost structures
Strong global network across semiconductor OEMs, fabless companies, IDMs, and foundries
Proven ability to influence C‑suite stakeholders and drive enterprise-level decisions
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required

Preferred

Experience working in fast-scaling organizations or greenfield manufacturing environments is a strong plus
MBA preferred
