Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Snowflake
Build Spark-based data processing jobs using PySpark for large-scale datasets
Contribute to lakehouse and warehouse architectures supporting analytics and AI initiatives
Implement and support Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Notebooks
Integrate Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Functions, Logic Apps, and Storage into workflows
Support Power BI datasets and reporting pipelines
Apply best practices for data quality, security, and governance
Participate in CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git / Azure DevOps
Collaborate with analytics, product, and AI teams to translate requirements into data solutions
Monitor and improve pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability
Gain exposure to AI/ML workflows using Azure ML, Databricks ML, and Python frameworks like scikit-learn
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
Around 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or data development roles
Experience with Microsoft Fabric and/or Databricks in production environments
Strong skills in PySpark, Spark, SQL, and Python
Exposure to Snowflake as part of modern data architectures
Experience working in Azure cloud environments
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices
A curious, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset
Preferred
Interest in or exposure to AI/ML workflows is a strong plus
