Responsibilities
Produces plans, reports, and specifications
Assists in developing drafting and project standards
Assists in preparation of cost estimates
Assists in preparation of inspection reports
Performs quality control and quality assurance
Performs structural calculations for design of buildings and retaining wall
Performs structural drafting
Works closely with junior engineering and drafting staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or similar from Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology accredited college or university
A minimum of fourteen (14) years' experience
Licensed Professional Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer, with ability to become licensed PE in other states within 6 months of hire
14+ years of design experience in at the state, local, or Federal government markets
Capability of working on multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred
Previous military experience
