Responsibilities
Manage day to day operations across expense and payroll teams, ensuring all processes are followed consistently across the company and defined SLAs are met
Guide and support the managers to efficiently run operations and resources
Responsible for achieving business goals and objectives pertaining to operations effectiveness productivity improvement and gross profit margin for each manager’s client portfolio
Responsible for process analysis, design/redesign of processes to ensure that our team is customer and client focused, consistent, effective and efficient and in compliance
Provide necessary inputs to help build operations metrics and reporting to assess and monitor implementation efficiency and performance results
Work with managers to successfully implement improvement plans
Resolve client complaints and problems that are critical in nature, which may have an impact on the business
Identify and understand customer needs and address them in a timely manner
Identify organizational learnings for ongoing improvement in business processes
Embrace change and support the team through change management
Ensure appropriate succession plan is completed and updated on an annual basis
Ensure adequate staffing, resources, training and coaching
Identify opportunities to reduce cost while providing consistent level of support
Maintain transparency to management on workload, utilization and capacity
Regularly report out on SLAs against actual
Support sales and client relations initiatives or meetings
Qualification
Required
Experience in operations management, particularly in expense management or financial services
Proven ability to manage and train teams in multiple locations
Strong collaboration skills to work with various departments including Sales, Client Relations, IT, and Accounting/Finance
Demonstrated skills in process ownership and driving operational excellence
Ability to analyze and redesign processes for efficiency and compliance
Experience in achieving business goals related to operational effectiveness and productivity improvement
Strong problem-solving skills to resolve critical client complaints
Ability to identify customer needs and address them promptly
Experience in change management and supporting teams through transitions
Ability to maintain transparency on workload, utilization, and capacity
Experience in building operations metrics and reporting
