Technical Engineering Specialist
Specialty Bolt & Screw (SBS) is a growth-oriented distributor of engineered fasteners and hardware, partnering with OEM customers. They are seeking a Technical Engineering Specialist to collaborate with OEM engineering, quality, and purchasing teams, focusing on new part introductions and ongoing technical collaboration to deliver value.

Responsibilities
Partner with OEM engineering, quality, and purchasing teams on new part introductions, print reviews, and ongoing technical collaboration focused on cost, quality, manufacturability, and application requirements
Help build a menu of technical and commercial options—manufacturing methods, materials, finishes, and sourcing strategies—so customers can make informed decisions aligned with their objectives
Lead structured problem-solving efforts (8D, CPAR, DMAIC), manage customer complaints, and review PPAP documentation in support of technical collaboration
Qualification
Required
Strong technical aptitude and ability to review prints and standards required
Experience working with data, reports, and modern business systems (including database and AI)
Experience: Recent graduate to ~10 years
Education: Engineering degree preferred but not required
